PVFCCo – Phu My Breaks Ground on Phosphoric Acid ($H_3PO_4$) Storage Tank Project
The project has a total investment of 81 billion VND and is expected to be implemented over six months. According to the design, the $H_3PO_4$ storage tank is a vertical cylindrical vessel with a capacity of 2,400 $m^3$ and can withstand temperatures up to 80°C. It features high-capacity centrifugal pumps and an internal agitation system to ensure solution homogeneity during storage and production. Furthermore, the tank is equipped with advanced pressure and temperature monitoring devices to track conditions continuously during loading, unloading, and storage.

Strategic Stockpiling and Quality Assurance
Using chemical technology, Phosphoric Acid is a vital input for the production of $NPK$ and $DAP$ at the Phu My Plant. By investing in and owning high-capacity, modern storage facilities, PVFCCo - Phu My can proactively secure strategic reserves of high-purity, high-quality acid. This is the primary factor ensuring that the Corporation's $NPK$ and $DAP$ products maintain superior quality with minimized impurities and heavy metals, such as Cadmium ($Cd$). Consequently, Phu My products are exceptionally well-suited for high-value crops—such as durian, coffee, pepper, and citrus—while ensuring safety for consumers and the environment.
Optimizing the Value Chain amid Global Fluctuations
In the context of a global fertilizer market heavily impacted by geopolitical factors and supply chain disruptions, enhancing storage capacity and securing raw materials is of paramount importance. The commencement of the $H_3PO_4$ tank project demonstrates PVFCCo - Phu My’s determination to optimize its value chain, improve operational efficiency, and consolidate its capacity to supply high-quality chemical and fertilizer products to the market.
Currently, following its successful general maintenance, the PVFCCo - Phu My Plant Complex is operating stably and continuously, exceeding its design capacity. This ensures a robust supply for the upcoming peak farming season.
