Phú Mỹ: Impressive Breakthrough in Both Production and Business

"Accelerating from the start of the year" is not just a slogan but a concrete action plan for PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (Phú Mỹ - PVFCCo), as the company ensures stable production operations and boosts business performance.

With continuous operations throughout the Tet holiday and thorough preparation, the Phú Mỹ Fertilizer Plant maintained uninterrupted production and achieved high efficiency, reaching approximately 86,000 tons of fertilizer output. This included 75,500 tons of Phú Mỹ Urea (100% of the target) and over 10,000 tons of Phú Mỹ NPK (exceeding the target by 116%).

In terms of business performance, Phú Mỹ reported impressive results, with total fertilizer and chemical sales reaching nearly 130,000 tons. Key products significantly exceeded targets, with urea sales reaching nearly 100,000 tons (146% of the plan) and Phú Mỹ NPK reaching nearly 11,000 tons (131% of the plan). The superior quality of Phú Mỹ’s product portfolio was also reaffirmed through high-value export orders, meeting the stringent requirements of international customers using urea as an industrial raw material. These achievements stem from meticulous preparation, seamless coordination between production and sales, and the ability to capitalize on market opportunities, demonstrating Phú Mỹ’s serious and efficient management even during the extended Ất Tỵ Tet holiday.

Building on the momentum of January, Phú Mỹ has set ambitious targets for February, aiming for a total sales volume of approximately 150,000 tons while ensuring sufficient supply for the peak Summer-Autumn and rainy season, starting at the end of Q1 2025.

With strong growth right from the beginning of the year, Phú Mỹ is determined to achieve outstanding business results in 2025, further cementing its leadership position in Vietnam’s fertilizer industry.
